Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Web Administrator (Windows-Unix) in Patuxent River, MD. Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Hybrid work/in-office. (see onsite requirements below)
**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding requires 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. On-site support is required 1-2 full days per week, as well as occasional weekend support for patching. Candidates must reside within 45 miles of Patuxent River, MD.

Essential Functions:

• Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration of websites, software, applications, and systems hosted on Windows and Unix-based servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Provides support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, and internal/external teams.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

• Windows and Unix web administration experience required.
• Installation/configuration of application server software required.
• Troubleshooting of software issues required.
• CompTIA Security certification required. (must show proof of cert prior to interview).

Desired:

• Knowledge of DISA STIGS and security policies desired.

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
High school and 2 years related experience required
